Hello, I am hoping someone can help me. I have had three energy healing sessions recently. At the first session i had an intense smell of cinnamon, followed by pepper and then an extremely sweet smell such as toffee. I thought the healer was using oils or handcreams but that wasn't the case. The water I tasted after the session was also very sweet although it was only tap water. At the next session i again smelt the intense sweetness but when i questioned it, or brought logic to it, it dissappeared. Again today i had my third session and the sweet smell began before we even started the session. What does this mean? ( I can pick up a small fragrance of it even now)
Thank you - Kathryn

Hello Kathryn,

The sweet "Smells" you are smelling are more than likely, not really smells at all. They are unhealthy energy patterns that trigger the senses of smell/taste in the mind. The mind communicates or interprets these energies in a relatively standard way. For example you smell/taste sweet things because of some type of unwellness with the spleen/pancreas. In Chinese medicine the energy that triggers the "sweet" smells  and or tastes is the spleen. The reason I include the pancreas as well is because in Chinese Medicine the spleen and pancreas are considered one unit. That is why you almost never hear about the pancreas in Chinese Medicine because both organs (spleen and pancreas) are consider to be one organ (The Spleen). In any case, your body is releasing unhealthy energies located in the "spleen" and/or "spleen meridians" which will of course affect the organ's health as well as that of the meridian's. I encounter this on a daily basis and each organ has a different "Smell". All of the "Smells" and their associated organs have been documented by Chinese Medicine for over 2000 years. But unfortunately are still not very common knowledge. Also the taste of the "Sweetness" is associated with the Spleen, along with the tongues's ability to sense the texture of foods. Many people with these conditions do not like "mushy" textured foods, everything must be "crispy" or "crunchy" to satisfy the tongues's sensitive state. The physiological reason for the texture disorder of the tongue is the tongue it's self will be "Fat" , "Flaccid" ,and "Swollen". Therefore the tongue does not wish to have any more energy types of that nature (no more fat, mushy, or gushy energies). So, when the tongue comes into contact with those energies and there is a sickness in the "Spleen" a response of the body's nervous system tells the brain "I don't like that." and then you "decide" I don't like that food/It does not taste right. Also, as long as you are experiencing these sensory basis phenomena you are detoxifying the energies. I hope this helps answer your question. Study hard and learn much!

Happy to have your help.

The theme or feeling we hope for is, neighbors helping neighbors, with Practitioners jumping in when and where they can.
