Investigating Nariwa

Investigating Nariwa, a Naturally Magnetized, Bio-Energized Water from Japan as a Hydrate Base for Infusion Therapy. Yoshitaka Ohno, M.D., Ph.D. and Howard Reminick, Ph.D. Ohno Institute on Water and Health, Cleveland, Ohio.
During the course of the many studies conducted on the efficacy of Nariwa, a naturally magnetized water which I discovered in Japan, some very interesting questions were asked by the clinicians who tested this water with their patients. Results of their trials suggested that Nariwa did improve symptoms related to illnesses, as well as increase bio-energy and organ function. Analysis of this water has shown that as a result of its magnetic influence, its 74 minerals are permanently ionized. This allows the water to enter the cell wall more easily and increase conductivity, creating a "chelation effect by attracting and flushing out waste materials, helping to prevent pH acidity.
During the past four years, Nariwa water has been tested by doctors throughout the U.S. with their patients. Since many of these clinical tests reported increased cell detoxification when the subjects drank Nariwa over time, the question most frequently asked was, "Could Nariwa be used in IV therapy solutions?" Based on what I have learned about this water, I believe that this is not only feasible, but can increase the effectiveness, as well as the safety of infusion therapy. I have called this the Ohno Therapy Solution ©.
What is known about the structure, content and bio-activity of Nariwa water that gives it the potential to be an effective hydrate base for IV solutions? In 1999, Dr. Klaus Kronenberg, a world renown physicist, conducted an investigation on Nariwa water. He stated in his conclusion that" this water is, indeed, fractured (its molecules are formed and remained separated in very small, aggregated clusters. Every feature of the crystallization of its many minerals supports this water's unique structure. What makes this water unique, compared to other magnetized water sources I have studied over the past 18 years, is its ability to permanently hold this structural bond. This cannot be duplicated with the application of a magnetic device."
"Normally, water crystals will aggregate on the rim of a slide. The crystals in Nariwa water congregate in the center, which only occurs in highly fractured water with broken molecular complexes."
Through microscopy, Dr. Kronenberg was able to view the masses of seeded crystals in Nariwa water. He found that when the many clusters of its water molecules opened, it set a multitude of seed particles free to take care of the solidifying minerals. Because the aggregation of its molecules are in much smaller clusters, this water is more finely granulated. This has a greater impact on structures within our bodies. Its smaller particle size, plus its abundance of natural energy, allows its molecules to penetrate cells easily. Metabolic exchange is also faster and more abundant.
Dr. Kronenberg also froze and boiled a sample of this water and studied it again under microscopy after it returned to room temperature. His tests showed that the same results occurred.
Simply summarized, Dr. Kronenberg stated that Nariwa water is indeed unique compared to any other water source he has investigated. The combination of its structure, organization and movement create an ideal mechanism to serve as a channel for maximum hydration and absorption in the body.
In order to test the permanency of Nariwa water over time, Dr. Kronenberg took a sample of this water from a bottle that had remained in his lab for two and a half years and inspected the evaporated drops with polarized light. The crystallizations showed very little difference (less that 10%) from the ones seen previously. This convinced him that there is no significant change in the structure of Nariwa over time.
According to Dr. Kronenberg, "My early analysis of the clusters formed by water molecules were that they tended to cling together by open hydrogen bonds and other materials. In this way the clusters formed bigger cages which engulfed foreign particles. These trapped particles are not available to serve as crystallization centers. The shape of the water clusters displayed in irregular cages was an early attempt to understand the facts revealed in micrographs. When perfectly shaped H2O cages are moved through magnetic fields which alternate with a frequency that matches the frequencies of the internal oscillations of the ensuing resonance, they tend to tear these formations apart into a few large pieces. This happens with effective magnetic water treatment devices. It is well known, however, and published by most investigators using artificial magnetization that water, although successfully treated this way, loses the effects of this treatment very quickly and will re-form into their original large structures."
"This latest investigation shows that this is not the case with Nariwa water. It keeps the water clusters in the cages from re-forming. What I have learned about Nariwa water makes it capable of changing the basic shapes of water molecular clusters to be regular, perfectly shaped formations. Since this has been found with CaCO3 which were micro-photographed on the slides, there may be a similar effect with the structures of minerals and nutrients absorbed by Nariwa water in the body."
Recently, Nariwa was tested by a physician and a biological dentist as part of a post amalgam filling removal procedure with patients. Standard for this procedure is to administer DMPS, a chelant via an IV drip after amalgam filling removal is completed. A six-hour urine sample is collected and analyzed for mercury excretion. When several of the patients were given a .5 liter bottle of Nariwa to drink before urine collection, urinalysis showed a greater excretion of Mercury. A controlled study with a large sample is now underway to determine if statistical significance can be found by comparing one group consuming an unlabeled bottle of Nariwa with another group consuming an unlabeled commercial bottled water after the chelation treatment protocol has been administered.
The question now becomes, if Nariwa is effective when ingested orally, can it also be effective when infused as the hydrate base with other treatment substances? Since Nariwa can be sterilized without losing its integrity, it was submitted to rigorous clinical testing in order to determine its the safety and potential for infusion therapy.
The results of these tests provide evidence that Nariwa is considered safe and acceptable for further testing for use in IV solutions. It is my opinion that its real value is to enhance the effectiveness of the ingredients used in IV therapy solutions, not replace them. The next step is to conduct tests with lab animals and eventually with humans to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of administering Nariwa water in IV therapy.
In order to understand why I consider Nariwa to be the ideal solution as the hydrate for infusion therapies, I would like to share what I have learned about natural energy and its vital force, which allows Nariwa to be effective biologically. Natural energy is responsible for "activating" the interaction of water and magnetism throughout our bodies, manifested in Nariwa. Bio-Magnetic Hydrology is a term I coined to explain this natural phenomenon and how these natural energy forms provide for a stable, internal environment. I have found this area of study promising and worthy of exploring.
As I explored these forces of Nature and dug deep into the mystery of Natural Energy, I became aware of how water behaves in the body and its role in maintaining a healthy, internal environment. This becomes manifested in the extra cellular matrix( the area of the internal environment surrounding the cells) and the importance of water's osmolarity and magnetic influence. These distinct, yet inseparable entities may prove significant in providing answers to the mystery of energy and help validate Nariwa water.
All bodily functions take place in water, interacting with the cells. Because water is an excellent solvent, assimilation of vital nutrients and proteins can take place. Water carries these substances throughout the body to vitalize and replenish cells and protect their exterior walls. This allows functions such as metabolism, digestion, blood flow and cellular reproduction to remain normal.
However, all of these functions can be seriously disrupted when the water in the body is not suitable for proper hydration, in other words, what is known as "dead" water, or of poor quality. Instead of being a stabilizing force, "dead" water can add to the disturbance of these functions.
Magnetism is a dominating factor in all human functioning. As geomagnetism holds the earth and all life in balance, so is magnetism necessary for the human body to remain in balance. As water is the basis of life, how it is influenced by magnetism determines how effective it is in regulating all bodily functions. The body's magnetism stimulates the biochemistry needed for natural healing to take place. Healing begins and ends in the core of every cell. Because water composes most of the body, it is the medium for allowing magnetism to activate this process. Magnetism is an imaginary field associated with certain types of elements that are magnetic in nature, especially electrons.
Magnetized water can protect cells from losing electrons and re-stabilizing the oxygen in molecules. It can also help control the production of free radicals by providing lost electrons to cells. It can better communicate and transfer information from one molecule to another and, therefore, from one system or organ to another. This is made possible by the orderly arrangement of water molecules, traveling through the body as they are kept aligned by magnetization. Without active magnetization in each molecule, water will not remain orderly structured after each impulse. Messages between cells will become distorted. There will be no steady magnetic frequency or resonance.
NATURAL ENERGY
Bio-magnetism has been studied in many different sciences, such as electro-biology and neurophysiology. However, the relationship of bio-magnetism to the human energy field is just gaining attention by more open and enlightened scientists. Going beyond the world of ions, they are focusing on micro bio-magnetism, which includes studying smaller entities than ions, mainly electrons, protons and electron voids. This has provided impetus to uncover the root of natural energy and a scientific basis for understanding the disease process. (Oschman)
Regarding energy at the most fundamental level, we still do not know exactly what electricity and magnetism are. With new thinking on old theories, the time has arrived when the activities of living cells will find explanation on a physio-chemical basis, generated by the natural forces of energy. Whether the issue investigated pertains to a human or a germ, we are dealing with a mass of vibrating atoms which in their varied combinations are the basic constituents of all that exists.
The electron is a basic unit of the atom and has properties such as mass, charge and gravity. But a rational, scientific explanation of these properties related to energy is not yet available. The electron theory which most corresponds with modern scientific investigation concerning the physical basis of the material universe conceives matter to be made up of molecules, composed of atoms, which consist of electrons. These atoms of matter are individualized masses of positive electricity diffused uniformly over the area of an atom. Throughout the mass are hundreds of minute particles of negative electricity, aggressively moving about, each repelling every other particle, yet all contained within their orbits by the mass of positive electricity.
Electrons are characterized by the uniformity of their vibrations. During the revolutions of the electrons, thousands of millions of times per second, an electro-magnetic field of energy is created. Everything in nature is in a state of perpetual motion, changing from one velocity to another. Humans are merely aggregations of electrons. The power to change the state of motion of a body is energy. (Abrams)
Life is dynamic and energy is dynamic. The conversion of energy is essential to all life forms. All living things assimilate energy and use it to grow. This process is called metabolism. Metabolism is organized by enzymes, catalysts which permit formation of temporary associations with the molecules that are reacting. Cells employ these proteins as catalysts to lower activation energies. By bringing two substances together in correct orientation or by stressing particular chemical bonds of a substance, an enzyme lowers the activation energy required for new bonds to form. This creates a much faster reaction than otherwise would take place.
Because it takes energy to break chemical bonds, the bonds between the atoms of a molecule tend to hold atoms together. However, thermal energy increases atomic motion, encouraging atoms to move apart. Thermal effects tend to promote entropy; bonding reduces entropy. The net effect, the amount of energy actually available to form other chemical bonds, is the free energy of the molecule, created by magnetic energy influence.
Energy stored in chemical bonds may be transferred to new chemical bonds as electrons shift from one energy level to another. In some chemical reactions, electrons pass from one atom or molecule to another. This is called oxidation-reduction, or redox. When an atom or molecule loses an electron, it becomes oxidized. This is because oxygen, which strongly attracts electrons, is the most common electron receptor. When an atom or molecule gains an electron, it is reduced. Oxidation and reduction always take place together, because for every electron lost by one atom, one is gained by another atom.
Redox plays a major role in energy flow within the body, because the electrons that pass from one atom to another carry with them their potential energy. Because these electrons are in a state of dynamics, having not yet returned to their original low energy level, they store potential energy. When an energetic electron is removed from one atom (oxidation) and donated to another atom (reduction), it carries the energy with it, orbiting the second atom's nucleus at the higher energy level.
All chemical reactions tend to proceed toward a state of maximum disorder and minimum free energy, occurring spontaneously. Before it is possible to form new chemical bonds with less energy, it is necessary to break the existing bonds, which requires energy. The extra energy required to destabilize the existing chemical bond and initiate a chemical reaction is the activation energy. Catalysts reduce the amount of required activation energy and speed the rate of reactions without changing their final proportions.
Biological compounds are capable of resonating when they are induced by magnetic stimulation. These special compounds are called neurohormones. In addition to other anatomical sites, they reside in acupuncture points and have the capacity to oscillate when induced by stimulation, such as provided by bio-magnetism. The information contained in the oscillations passed on by the acupuncture point relay system reaches the thalamus and then on to the cerebral cortex and the autonomic nervous system.
Magnetic fields generated by cells, tissues and organs are not only useful for diagnostics, but also as part of the body's mechanism for communicating with itself and its environment. Each heartbeat, breath or emotion generates magnetic energy that travels through the extra cellular matrix where cells are imbedded to remote cells. The surrounding organized layer of water with magnetic influence can serve as a separate communication and energy channel.
THE EXTRA CELLULAR MATRIX AND WATER
Understanding how a cell maintains its integrity and is affected by energy requires understanding the role of the connective tissues in the body to the health and longevity of its internal environment. The environment of a cell is directly affected by the environment outside of the cell. Cells have a reciprocal relationship with their environment. The environment surrounding a cell consists of a structured, basic substance, which is called the extracellular matrix (ECM). This enormous space has a significant effect on determining genetic outcomes of the cell.
The ECM is the largest system in the body. It is virtually responsible for all vital functions that take place within the body. All cells depend on an intact ECM for their existence. It regulates the cell's environment and is part of every aspect of the immune system because the lymphatic system is connected with it. It takes care of cell nutrition through internal circulation of water, and the removal of wastes. Water is its primary regulation system. The ion composition of the elements in the ECM are activated in water. Disease originates in dysfunctions in this space, as it affects organs and other systems throughout the body.
The ECM provides for the communication of connective tissue over the entire body. The entire field of activity and information related to communication is contained in the extracellular fluid, which is predominately water.
More than having a supporting and space-filling function, the ECM provides regeneration for specific organ functions, as well as mediation of nerve and vascular functions. Everything that comes out of the blood takes a complicated route through the connective tissue to the cell, and then into the lymphatic system. It is even more vital to the health of the human body because the nerves and blood vessels do not come into direct contact with the cells at any point, therefore, the ECM becomes the mediator for nervous and nutritional flow.
Since the endocrine and the central nervous systems are connected in the brain stem, they are influenced by the ECM. The interconnection of these systems results in a significant increase in the performance of the ECM. The performance capacity of the ECM can only be attained by a highly functional, interconnected set of systems functioning as one. This seems to provide a strong rationale for the mind-body connection in the healing process, or the relationship of the psyche and the immune system. It also gives meaning to "the Whole is greater than the sum of its parts." (Pischinger)
OSMOLARITY
A key component in dispensing bio-energy is the interactive effect of water and bio-magnetism. Determining its effectiveness is osmosis and the osmolarity of the water in the extracellular matrix, as well as in the cells. The nature and proportion of minerals and solutes in the body's water will determine its effectiveness in hydrating, as well as detoxifying cells so a homeostatic, internal environment can be maintained. Through the influence of the body's bio-magnetism greater penetration of ions through the cell membrane, transported by water, will increase the health and stability of cells.
The diffusion of a solvent, such as water, through a selectively permeable membrane like the cell wall is called osmosis. Osmotic water flow is extremely important in the distribution of water in various body compartments, such as blood, interstitial fluid, and cells. Osmosis occurs whenever there is a difference in water concentration on the two sides of the same membrane. This osmotic activity occurs as a result the ionization of the particles in the water.
Molecules dissolved in water are in constant motion, moving about randomly. This creates diffusion, the random movement of molecules toward zones where the concentration of the molecules is lower. This tends to distribute molecules uniformly.
A balanced osmolarity can be the difference between life and death of an organism. An example is sea water, overbalanced with sodium ions, or distilled water, which can be deadly if infused because it has no osmolarity. If distilled water is present on both sides of a permeable membrane, no net osmosis occurs, even though water molecules continue to move in both directions through the membrane. If, however, the solute concentration on both sides of the membrane differs, water concentration differs as well, because as the solute concentration increases, water concentration decreases. Any changes in their concentration produce changes in water concentration on the two sides of the membrane and result in net loss or gain of water by the cell.
The human body can only maintain homeostasis if the extra cellular fluid (ECF) volume is closely regulated to maintain blood pressure and salt balance. Its osmolarity must be regulated to prevent swelling or shrinking of the cells. The maintenance of water balance is important in regulating ECF osmolarity. In order to maintain stability, the ECF must be able to respond quickly to changes in volume and osmolarity. (Sherwood).
In order for water to be the medium for any hydrate solution used in infusion, it must enhance, not deter bodily functions. It must meet the stringent criteria of safety and effective assimilation and transportation of solutes used in the specific IV solution. Using the premise that if the body is 70% water, a cell 70% and the blood 90%, then the quality, content, structure and resonance of the water used as a hydrate base for IV solutions must be optimal. Normally, water forms large molecular clusters, which slow movement and absorption into cells. Because water molecules lose order when they are not adequately magnetized, this can affect intracellular hydration. The magnetic influence of Nariwa water allows molecules to be permanently formed in small clusters, thereby increasing the order of movement, as well as absorption and delivery of solutes to cells.
Nariwa water has been tested and found to meet these criteria. Since it has been found to effectively increase cell hydration and detoxification when consumed orally, it should be given serious consideration and tested as a hydrate base for infusion therapy.
